Life is Art.

Sun Apr 1, 2007, 9:36 PM
Art is my passion and purpose in life.

My work reflects my life vision.

My ideas are the highlights of my day.

My inspiration is everywhere.

My art is my life.

The gallery posted here are samples of my work for your review.

Hoping it brings you as much joy as it does to me

Sincerely,

Andrew Korshun

It's late and I'm browsing around for interesting things until I can fall asleep haha.

I liked some stuff in your Gallery.

Keep up the good work.

you know, i don't know what to make of you. i usually don't drift towards abstract art (i'm a sketch artist, myself), but you work is ... something. you have a great sense of colour and composition, which is always hardest to acheive with abstract pieces. what i think would only enhance your work is a sense of texture. all round, great work :)
well, thank you. It's always nice to be appreciated. Like you've noticed, my art is not entirely abstract. I am majoring in painting, so my work is changing over time

you're welcome. majoring in painting, eh? it'll be neat to see what your first year pieces compared to your final year pieces look like :) ... me, i teach art, and i love finding things going against the grain, you know?
Some of my first pieces are in the gallery. I try no to mix my personal painting with school projects..

that's always a good idea - it keeps you objective. personally, i never liked much of what i did in school (but that's mainly because i was young and silly) ... now i'm trying to revisit that happiness i feel only when i'm drawing. it's a hard place to find :)
